How are these guides written and checked?

A guide is only useful if the menu it describes still exists. This is the standard every rewritten guide has to meet before it goes live.

  1. Start from the questionEach guide answers one task in its first lines, then explains the details.
  2. Use primary sourcesMenu paths and limits are checked against Telegram’s own FAQ, blog and API documentation, which each guide links to.
  3. Say what changed and whenRewritten guides carry the month they were checked. Older guides show the year they were written.
  4. No invented numbersAny figure on a page comes from Telegram, a named report or our own data, and says which.

Running a Telegram channel and want more than guides?

The guides are free and stay free. If you manage a public channel or group, these are the services channel owners use alongside them.

06

What else should you know about these guides?

What are the AddTelegramMember Telegram guides?

They are free step-by-step articles about using Telegram on Android, iPhone, desktop and web, written by the team behind AddTelegramMember, a Telegram growth service running since 2019. They cover account security, chats, media, groups and channels, bots and channel growth.

How up to date are the guides?

Every guide shows a year. Guides marked 2026 were rewritten and checked against the current app and Telegram’s documentation. Older guides show the year they were written, and some menu names may have changed since. We rewrite them one by one, starting with the most searched.

Do I have to buy anything to use the guides?

No. Every guide is free to read, and none of them needs an account on this site. Paid services are only for channel and group owners who want more members, views or reactions.

Which guide should I read first?

If you are new, start with Saved Messages and Telegram Cloud. If you worry about your account, start with Two-Step Verification and the QR code guide. If you run a channel, start with channel ideas and making your channel public.

How do I report a mistake in a guide?

Send the guide’s address, your phone model and your Telegram version through the contact page. Those three details let us check the exact screen you are seeing.

Missing a guide you need?

Tell us the Telegram task you are stuck on. The most requested topics are written next.
